Day 1

Manila Depature

Nagoya-Iwasaki

The first stop of the tour is to visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum which preserves and uses a factory building used during the Taisho era which still remains in the birthplace of the Toyota group as an industrial heritage. A known commercial district in Nagoya, Sakae District offers multiple department stores and malls catering to all kinds of shoppers, as well as a plethora of dining options. Transfer to Iwasaki by bus and lunch at a local restaurant. Next is the Iwasaki Sample Village, the first food replica village in Gujo Hachiman. Food replicas are a tool for sales promotion unique to Japan, with more than 80 years of history. Dinner at a local restaurant before transferring back to the hotel.

Day 3

Takayama-Shirakawago

Visit Takayama Old Merchant Street, this street provides a glimpse behind the facade into the former living quarters of the local merchants and exhibits traditional household goods and local arts and crafts. Drive through the Nakabashi Bridge that goes across Miyakawa River, a symbol of Takayama. A former government outpost, Hida Takayama Jinya was established in order to bring the Hida Province under the direct control of the Edo Bakufu. Lunch at a local restaurant. See the rustic charm of the snow-capped World Heritage site of Shirakawa Village, it is a small, traditional village showcasing a building style known as gasshou-zukuri.

Day 4

Takayama-Nagoya

Breakfast at the hotel before checking out. A place that introduces the manufacturing process of Japanese swords, kitchen knives, and nail clippers, Cutler Sanshu Knife Museum is a facility equipped with a forge where one can view or even experience hands-on traditional Japanese swordsmithing. Lunch at a local restaurant and have free time shopping at one of the biggest outlet malls in Japan, the Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima. One of the largest illumination events in Japan, Nabana No Sato consists of millions of LED lights illuminating the flower park. Dinner at a local restaurant before transferring back to Nagoya.
